MAPSTONE – Edith, 98, Sidman, formerly of South Fork; died December 11, 2019, at Forest Hills Personal Care Home. Born May 23, 1921, in Waterman, Indiana County; daughter of Peter and Mary (Albertelli) Pesci. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Charles H. Mapstone, who died January 10, 2003; and brothers, Adam and Joseph Pesci.
Survived by sister, Caroline Moss, Ehrenfeld; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews. Member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, South Fork.
Edith helped her husband run Chuck’s Tavern for many years and retired from Hiram G. Andrews Center.
Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Father Joseph C. Nale, Celebrant.
Committal, South Fork Cemetery.
