WADSWORTH – Dorothy E., 95, formerly of South Fork, died January 19, 2017 at Arbutus Park Manor, surrounded by loving family. Born December 19, 1921, in South Fork, daughter of U. Edmond and Anna (Anderson) Swartzentruver. Preceded in death by parents; husband, William Earl Wadsworth, who died October 9, 1997; and sisters, Iona Penrod and Violet Marshall-Yelanich.
Survived by daughter, Carol, wife of David Allison, Davidsville; sons, William, married to Judy Wirick, Sidman; and Richard, married to Elizabeth Cabaniss, Savannah, Georgia; grandchildren, Christopher Allison; Keri, wife of Corey Tiani; Michael Wadsworth; Megan, wife of James Tiffany; Kimberly Wadsworth; and Douglas Wadsworth; and 5 great grandchildren.
Member of First Lutheran Church, Johnstown; and the former Elderberries and Golden Age Club of South Fork. Dorothy was a 1939 graduate of South Fork High School. She worked at the former Gee Bee Dept. Store and Thrift Drug in the Richland Mall until retiring in 1986.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork.
Viewing also at First Lutheran Church from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Monday, the Rev. Walter Startzel, presiding.
