REESE – Deborah J., 72, Sidman, died March 16, 2024, at home. Born February 3, 1952, in Johnstown, daughter of the late Michael T. and Jean M. (Wise) Borow. 

Survived by husband of 19 years, Alan Reese, whom she married August 31, 2004; sons, Troy Jordan (Debra) and Barry Jordan (Amy); grandchildren, Kathryn and Abigail; great grandson, Benjamin; stepdaughter, Tiffany Reese; stepson, Corey Reese; step grandchildren, Lilly, Alan, and Owen; and brothers, Michael and Ronald Borow. 

Debbie was a graduate of Forest Hills High School, class of 1970. Her decision to pursue a college education later in life was a testament to her resilience and her belief in the power of education to transform lives, ultimately graduating Summa cum laude from UPJ in 2002.  As a social worker for Cambria County, Debbie had a passion for helping others, fighting tirelessly to ensure that every individual she served received care and respect.

Friends will be received from 3 p.m. until time of service at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork, Father Jerzy Auguscik, OFM Conv., presiding.
