GLASS – Deborah A., 53, Salix, passed peacefully July 4, 2024, at home. Born May 8, 1971, in Johnstown. Preceded in death by father-in-law, Henry Glass.
Survived by mother, Linda (Shaffer) Noon; husband, Jeffrey T. Glass, whom she married December 31, 2008; daughters, Tiffany, engaged to Lanny Grieff; and Caitlin; granddaughter, Bristol; and her “Bestie,” Bev Chestnutwood.
Her gentle nature and caring heart served her well in her career as a certified nurse’s aide. Debbie loved her family, and nowhere was this more evident than in the special bond she shared with her pride and joy, her granddaughter. She cherished every moment they spent together, treasuring each laugh, each hug, and each kiss. Vacations with family were a time to explore new places and create lasting memories. One of her greatest joys was spending time outdoors, especially camping. She found laughter around a campfire and peace under the stars. The music of Kenny Chesney was a soundtrack to many of her happiest moments. She was an avid NASCAR fan and always held out hope the Pirates would come back stronger next year. Her playful spirit brought happiness to those around her, making even the simplest moments memorable. She was not just a wife and mother; she was the best we could have ever hoped for. And one of the strongest people anyone had ever met!
