ALLISON – David Lewis, 71, Davidsville, died November 20, 2019, at Windber Hospice, surrounded by loving family.
Born January 13, 1948, in Johnstown, son of Lewis H. and Harriet G. (Rodkey) Allison.
Preceded in death by parents; father and mother-in-law, W. Earl and Dorothy (Swartzentruver) Wadsworth; sister-in-law, Diane (Wingard) Allison; and nephew, Michael W. Wadsworth, who died November 18, 2019.
Survived by loving wife, Carol (Wadsworth) Allison; son, Christopher, Johnstown, and his partner, Kristina Snyder, and her son, Simian Snyder, Altoona; daughter, Keri, wife of Corey Tiani, Pittsburgh; brother, John “Jack,” Dillsburg; in-laws, William and Judy Wadsworth, Sidman; and Richard and Elizabeth Wadsworth, Charlotte, North Carolina; and nieces and nephews, Kimberly and Douglas Wadsworth; Megan (Wadsworth) Tiffany; and Katie Allison.
Dave was a veteran of the US Army, having served in Germany. Retired Project Manager from Penn Machine Company and member of First Lutheran Church, Johnstown. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and especially golfing. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork.
Visitation at the church from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. Monday at First Lutheran Church, the Reverend Walter Startzel presiding.
Private interment.
