MATHIESON – Darlene J., completed her earthly journey and entered her heavenly life with the Father on December 7, 2016.
Preceded in death by beloved parents, Hilda (Wess) and Howard Mathieson; sister, Dorothy Stouffer and husband James Stouffer; and cherished “4-legger” family members, Foozy, Puffy, Kohle, Patty, Cody and Annie.
Survived by sister Carol Mathieson and special family friend JoAnn Martnishn.
Honoring Darlene’s wishes there will be no viewing, visitation, or lengthy obituary.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 13, at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Summerhill, by Father Leon Hont, OSB.
Committal will be private.
Our loss of Darlene is beyond words. Heaven has received a kind, compassionate, honest person who was always concerned about justice, fairness and compassion for all, both human and animal. As long as there is life and breath, Darlene will be grievously missed and loved above any measure.
Remembrances of Darlene can be offered to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Summerhill or the Humane Society of Cambria County, 743 Galleria Drive Ext., Johnstown, PA 15904.
