Daniel J. Felix

FELIX – Daniel J., 44, Sidman, passed away January 6, 2025, at Conemaugh Hospital. Born February 6, 1980, in Johnstown. Survived by parents, Robert L. Felix Sr. (Carol) and Linda L. McGough (Pat); sisters, Laurie Fessler (Rick) and Becky Shirk (Rick); brother, Robert Felix Jr. (Bridget); nieces and nephews, Brett Byers; Cory (Courtney), Shawn and Megan Fessler; Tyler, Aaden, and Alexis Wise; and Maria and Julia Felix; and many dear friends. 

A graduate of Forest Hills High School, class of 1998; Dan earned his Master’s Degree in Safety Science from IUP. He built a career as a Safety Manager, working with UPS and PPG. He was happiest in the great outdoors, whether it was the thrill of boating on a summer day, carving through fresh powder on his snowmobile, or skiing down the slopes. A standout athlete and avid sports fan, he enjoyed football and hockey, and the precision and focus of target shooting. 

Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Friday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork; Pastor Pat Walsh, presiding. Interment, Forest Lawn Cemetery.
