Dana L. Fresch

FRESCH – Dana L., 57, Windber, died August 8, 2021, at home. Born March 2, 1964, in Spangler, daughter of Louise (Hoover) and the late Robert Fresch.

Survived by her mother, South Fork; son, Logan Milkovich; and daughter, Carissa Milkovich, both of Windber; brothers, Donald, married to Gabria (Wingard), Winston Salem, North Carolina; and Ronald, married to Jodi (Horne), Johnstown; and also, her beloved dog, Toby; and cat, Buttons.

Graduate of Forest Hills High School, class of 1982. Dana completed the 2-year Surgical Tech Program at Conemaugh and worked as a dedicated and compassionate nurse’s aide at Laurel Crest Manor for over 25 years. She was a wonderful mother. She was adored for her lighthearted and fun-loving nature and never missed an opportunity to laugh and smile. She loved the outdoors, feeding wildlife, and cherished spending time with family; especially on their many swimming and fishing trips.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, the Reverend Randolph Landman presiding.

Interment, South Fork Cemetery.
