Cynthia A. Martyak

MARTYAK – Cynthia A., 72, Sidman, died February 12, 2018, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born March 10, 1945, in Johnstown, daughter of the late Anthony B. “Barney” and Martha (Kohan) Cyburt.
Survived by husband of 48 years, Richard M. Martyak, whom she married November 29, 1969; son, Eric, and wife, Susan, Upton, Massachusetts; daughter, Courtney, wife of Jeff Sierocky, Ligonier; grandchildren, Max Martyak and Haden Sierocky; brother, Tony, and wife, Rhonda, Windber; and niece, Emily Cyburt, Windber.
Cynthia was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, St. Michael. She was an avid reader and baseball fan, her favorite teams being the New York Yankees and Flood City Baseball. Cynthia adored her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling, visiting the beach and bus trips.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and from 6 p.m. until time of funeral service at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork, by Fr. Joseph Nale. Committal of urn, Grandview Mausoleum, Johnstown.
