Clark L. Poling

POLING – Clark L., 65, South Fork, died June 24, 2016 at his camp along the Juniata in Bedford County. Born May 6, 1951, son of Gerald Sr. and Elizabeth (Hughes) Poling.

Preceded in death by parents; beloved wife, Peggy (Coutts) Poling, who died Dec. 7, 2013; and infant son, Clark.

Survived by son, Eric, married to Aimee Edwards, South Fork; and daughter, Jennifer, wife of Michael Leventry, Sidman; grandchildren, Keleigh and Nicholas Poling and Jakob, Grace and Brielle Leventry; step-mother, Patricia (Coleman) Poling, Altoona; brother, Gerald Jr., Mentor, Ohio; sisters, Donna, wife of Carlyle Beveridge, Roxboro, North Carolina; Roxann, wife of Gary Lesko, South Fork; and Rose Ellen Poling, Altoona; dear family friends, Paula and Alyssa Mathis; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Clark was a coal miner and skilled electrician. He worked in many mines over the years including, Island Creek and retired from the Forest Hills Municipal Authority.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing, spending time at his camp and sitting next to a warm fire with his family and friends. Member of St. Michael’s Sportsman Club, Wilmore Sportsmen’s Association and the VFW Post 7542, South Fork.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork.
Viewing will also be held at St. Michael United Methodist Church from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. Tuesday, the Rev. David Butler, officiating.

Interment, South Fork Cemetery.
