BRUMMERT – Lucinda K. “Cindy,” 65, South Fork, passed December 30, 2021, at UPMC Altoona. Born December 20, 1956, in Colver, daughter of Henry B. and Marjorie Ann (Scanlon) Beba. Preceded in death by parents; sister, Linda Sral; and brothers, John and Henry Beba.
Survived by loving husband, Terry L. Brummert, Sr., South Fork; sisters, LaWanda, wife of Anthony Farren, Portage; and Winifred, wife of Daniel Fels, Cheswick; sister-in-law, Rochelle Beba, Slidell, Louisiana; special cousin, Georgeanne; and many cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Cindy graduated from Central Cambria High School in 1974 and was a US Airforce veteran. She worked as an administrative assistant and case worker for the Department of Human Services. She was an auxiliary member of the VFW and especially enjoyed camping, the warmth of a glowing fire, the beauty of the outdoors, and boating aboard the pontoon on the waters of Lake Raystown with family and friends.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork; where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Father Joseph C. Nale, presiding.
Military service by St. Michael American Legion Post 551 immediately following.
Due to current health concerns, masks are required.
Following cremation, a committal service will be held at St. James Cemetery.
