Charles was a kindhearted family man that loved spending time with his family. He especially adored his great grandchildren. He loved his whole family dearly and never missed a family gathering whether it was a birthday party, graduation, holiday or just a picnic. While in his prime, he was a wonderful wood craftsman, an outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt. He was also a jack of all trades. There wasn’t a problem he couldn’t figure out with the best solution, whether it be building a garage or a deck, anything. He volunteered with the Red Cross for many years and was a longtime blood donor. He was an extremely strong and hardworking man. He was an avid Steelers fan and loved crossword puzzles and Sudoku. Also enjoyed gun raffles and basket parties.
