Carmine Cannizzaro

CANNIZZARO – Carmine, 90, formerly of South Amboy, N.J., died December 30, 2016 at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown, PA. Born October 24, 1926 in New York, NY, son of Benedict and Mary (Muscariello) Cannizzaro. Preceded in death by parents; beloved wife Mary (Tuzzolino), who died Feb. 7, 2014; and brothers Joseph and Paul.

Survived by sons, Robert, married to Maureen (Connolly), Salix, PA; William, married to Norma (Villilobos), Hollywood, FL; Richard, married to MaryAnn (Hranowski), Sayreville, NJ; and David, Salix, PA; sister Rosemary Chapple; grandchildren Carmine, Dominic, Vincent, Paul, Marie, Joy and Heather; 19 great-grandchildren; and numerous other beloved friends and family.
Carmine was an Army veteran who proudly served his country in both WWII and the Korean War. After his service in the armed forces, he went on to work as a salesman for Stroheim and Romann fabric and textiles.

Friends will be received Friday from 10:30 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12:30 p.m. at Page Funeral Home, Burlington, NJ. Committal, General Doyle Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
