Brenda L. Haney

HANEY – Brenda Lee, 71, Lakeland, Fla., formerly of Wilmore Heights, died March 23, 2016, at Lakeland Hills Center. Born Oct. 10, 1944, in Washington, D.C., daughter of Daniel and Doris (Fischer) Underwood. Preceded in death by parents; beloved husband, Donald E. “Goose” Haney, who died, Nov. 12, 2011; grandson, Justin Haney; sister-in-law, Helen (Stohon) Haney; and brother-in-law, Jack Morton. Survived by children, Daniel, married to Janice (Miller), Virginia Beach, Va.; Sherry, wife of John Salamon, New Germany; and Edward, married to Sandy (Causer) Bartow, Florida; grandchildren, Christopher (Cherry), Doris (Robert), Stacey, Raymond (Vivian), Donald and Kristi (Donald); great-grandchildren, Mason and Donald; sister, Linda Morton, Silver Springs, Md.; brother-in-law, Michael Haney, Mount Hope; goddaughter, Stacey (Stohon) Jarvis; and numerous nieces and nephews. Brenda retired from Conemaugh Hospital and was a longtime member of Wilmore Athletic Association. She enjoyed cooking delicious meals, craft making, cheering on the Steelers, spoiling her dog, Shila, and spending time with her family at her campsite in Bedford. Friends will be received from 4 p.m. until time of funeral service at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home Inc., South Fork, Father Leon Hont, officiating.
