Bonita L. Long

LONG – Bonita L., 55, Summerhill, died December 22, 2023. Born October 2, 1968, in Johnstown, daughter of the late Joseph R. and Dorothy L. (Turner) Long.

Survived by siblings, Joann I., wife of Harold “Pat” Smith; Joseph M., married to Susan Jo (Taylor); Michael J., married to Bobbie Jo (Jarvie); and Susan M. Kimmell; and numerous nieces and nephews. Member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, New Germany. She was a graduate of Forest Hills High School, class of 1986 and was a graduate of Waynesburg University. Her hope, courage, and optimism were an inspiration to all as she endured the effects of MS. Her family will fondly cherish the many memories they shared together.

Friends will be received from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Father Joseph C. Nale, celebrant.

Committal, St. Bartholomew Catholic Cemetery.
