Betty L. Ellis

ELLIS – Betty L., 90, Sidman, PA, formerly of Piedmont, OK; went to be with the Lord, August 21, 2018, at Rose of Sharon Home, St. Michael. Born March 14, 1928, in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, daughter of David and Florence Ella (Fuson) Ayres. Preceded in death by parents; and husband, Jack R. Ellis, who died February 8, 1970. Survived by children, Carolyn, wife of John Hicks, Meeker, OK; Susan, wife of Michael Hudak, Sidman, PA; Rickey, Pryor, OK; and Roy, Oklahoma City, OK; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; and brother, the Rev. Bobby Ayres, Longview, TX. Betty was a member of Woodson Park Church of the Nazarene, Oklahoma City and was a former customer service representative for Farmers Insurance. She enjoyed raising quarter horses, barrel racing and attending rodeos with her family. She will always be remembered among family and friends for her deep and abiding faith in the Lord. Friends will be received from 9 a.m. until time of service at 10 a.m. Saturday at Woodson Park Church of the Nazarene, Oklahoma City, brother Darron presiding.
