Bernice Ann Myers

MYERS – Bernice Ann, 99, St. Michael, died September 21, 2021, at home. Born July 27, 1922, in Windber, daughter of Steve and Adeline (Chicarell) Campitell. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Clair J. “Herby” Myers, who died March 4, 1990; sisters, Mary Sklodowski, Edith Glacken, and Rose Haley; and brothers, Paul “Hardrock” and Richard Campitell.

Survived by son, Steven, CWO, US Army (Retired) married to Barbara (Molton), Meridian, Idaho; and daughter, Connie Koebbe, Morehead City, North Carolina; caregiver and “adopted daughter,” Melissa (Mondi), wife of Kevin Williams, South Fork, with who she resided; sister, Janet, wife of Richard Murtha, Windber; grandchildren, Michaelene, Steven Jr. (Heather), Jenna (William), Morgan (Charles), and Keri (Jason); six great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Member of St. Michael Catholic Church, St. Michael; and former member of St. Michael American Legion Auxiliary. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Her gentle nature and caring spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.

Funeral Mass will be private for family and close friends.
