MILLER – Barry Jacob, 19, of Summerhill, died July 2, 2018, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, due to a tragic work-related accident. Born December 24, 1998, in Johnstown, son of Barry L. “Poe” and Janice R. (Wissinger) Miller.
Preceded in death by father, who died January 5, 2007; great-grandmother, Ruth V. Dale; paternal grandparents, John and Nancy Miller; uncles, Joseph and Randy Miller; and cousin, Randy Miller, Jr.
Survived by, mother and step-father, Janice R. (Wissinger) and Tim Miller, Summerhill; sisters, Amanda (Labosky) Himmer; and Jamie Miller, Summerhill; step-brothers, Dustin, Summerhill, and T.J., Ebensburg; maternal grandparents, Isaiah and Eileen Wissinger, Sidman; girlfriend, Alyssa Vrabel, Portage; bestfriend, Sue Jones, Sidman; uncles, Thomas and David Wissinger, Sidman. Also numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends and his beloved pets, Pepsi, Sierra, Isabelle, and Pharoah.
Jacob was a 2017 graduate of Forest Hills High School. He was a member of Sidman UMC, and was a member of The Young Marines for 4 years. Barry loved his cars, dirt bikes, motorcycles, and living life to the fullest, but most especially he loved his family. He will be remembered for his joking antics especially making people mad on purpose.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork.
Viewing will also be held at South Fork First United Methodist Church from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Saturday, the Rev. Ed Wagner of Sidman UMC and Rev. Terry Trudgen of First UMC co-officiating. Inurnment, Mount Union Cemetery, Lovely.
