Barri K. Gramling

March 10, 1956 — February 19, 2025

GRAMLING – Barri K., 68, Wilmore, passed away February 19, 2025. Born March 10, 1956, in Johnstown, son of the late John R. and Ronda D. (Burkett) Gramling.

Survived by wife of 47 years, Susan M. (Miller) Gramling, whom he married April 30, 1977; daughters, Michelle (Matthew Chverchko), Erin Brown, and Alyssa Gramling; beloved grandchildren, Katie, Camryn, Bailey, Mason, and Landon; brother, John R. “Rick,” (Wanda Graham); sisters, Shelli (Joseph Stiffler) and Melodi (David Brennan); and Rosie and Emmy, his beloved Border Collies who were always by his side.

His sense of humor and wit were his gifts to the world! And he made sure to share it with anyone who crossed his path. He had a way of filling even simple moments with laughter. He cherished taking his grandkids camping, where he passed on his love of nature. Graduate of Forest Hills High School, class of 1974. Barri worked for Bethlehem Steel, Wingard Auto Body, Rod Fye, and Miller’s Greenhouse. He was a member of the Wilmore Sportsman’s Club, where he enjoyed darts and fishing derbies with his daughters and grandchildren. His charisma was undeniable; and his sense of humor had a way of making life seem a little lighter, a little brighter, and a lot more fun.
