PSIODA – Barbara A., 92, Pittsburgh, formerly of St. Michael, went to be with the Lord June 7, 2024. Born September 16, 1931, in St. Michael; daughter of Joseph F. Sr. and Mary Magdalene (Ivock) Mucko. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Joseph Psioda who died November 19, 1974; sisters, Anna Fornadel and Ruby Oklamchak; and brothers, Frank and Joseph Mucko.
Survived by daughter, Anna Marie; grandson, Timothy Eggert Jr.; granddaughter, Amanda (Eggert), wife of Matt Castagnero; and great grandchildren, Mia Grace Eggert and Will and Evan Castagnero.
Barbara was a devout Catholic, her deep connection to her faith was evident in the way she lived her life—with kindness, patience, and an ever-present sense of hope. She prayed the Rosary daily and spent countless hours in quiet reflection and devotion, praying not just for herself, but for her family, friends, and anyone in need. She loved making ethnic dishes and baking for family and friends and taught us that great baking wasn't just about perfect ingredients but the love and intention behind every creation.
