Barbara A. Grosik

GROSIK – Barbara A., 74, Mineral Point, died August 8, 2021, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.

Born July 29, 1947, in Nanty Glo, daughter of James and Josephine (Lesniak) Henshaw.

Preceded in death by parents and infant son, William Grosik who died in 1980.

Survived by loving husband of 48 years, John G. Grosik, Jr.; daughters, Joann (Michael), Indiana; and Susan (Ryan), Burton, Ohio; sons, John, Lancaster; and Paul (Christina), Mineral Point; grandchildren, Riley, Elaina, Matthew, Jared and Ella; sisters, Mary Henshaw, Nanty Glo; J.O. Noonan, Bowie, Maryland; Betsy Sporcich, Minnesota; Annie Bellino, Alexandria, Virginia; Chrissie Roberts, Hawaii; and Patty Henshaw, Nanty Glo; and brothers, James Henshaw, Pageland, South Carolina; and Dennis Henshaw, Nanty Glo.

Barbara was a graduate of Nanty Glo-Vintondale High School Class of 1965. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, New Germany; where she served as past president of the Altar Rosary Society and volunteered at the Lenten Fish Fries.

Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church by Fr. Joseph C. Nale.
