HARRISON – Ardith M., 85, Summerhill, went to be with the Lord, February 6, 2023. Born December 22, 1937, in Johnstown; daughter of George and Ethel (Carpenter) Lingenfelter. Preceded in death by parents; infant son, Charles Homza; stepsons, John and Carl Harrison; sisters, Yvonne Plummer and Evelyn Yerich; and brothers, George Jr. and William.
Survived by husband, Walter “Buddy” Harrison; sons, John Homza Jr.; Bill Homza; Joe Homza (Cindy Price), and Joel Homza; daughter, Kathi Miller; stepchildren, Walter Harrison, Roseann Brown, and LaDonna Smith; brother, Hank Lingenfelter; grandchildren, Billie Jo, Hayley, Shannon (Jake), Ashley, Morgan, and Caitlyn; numerous beloved great grandchildren, special in her heart, Sadie and Colton; and also her former husband, John Homza.
Ardith was a talented seamstress and loved to cook. She had a kind and gentle spirit and found joy in helping others. Attended Beaverdale Alliance Church, she loved God and committed her life to him many years ago. We find peace knowing she now rests in His arms.
Visitation and service are private to the family.
