BOPP – Anna Mae, 85, Summerhill, died May 13, 2017, at Richland Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, Johnstown. Born May 30, 1931, in Patton, daughter of Dominic and Angeline (Terrezza) Ianniello.
Preceded in death by parents; beloved husband, Donald T. “D.T.” Bopp, who died January 5, 2012; sister, Erma Iannaello; and brothers, Paul and John.
Survived by daughters, Debra A., wife of Joseph A. Babiak, Portage; and Pamela, wife of Jay Hoke, Windber; granddaughters, Jessica, wife of Charles VanDerMiller, Fairfax, Virginia; and Nicole Wilson, Mount Hope; great-grandson, Andrew “A.J.” Wilson; step-great-grandson, Jake VanDerMiller; brothers, Joseph (Marcella); and Herman Victor (Patricia); all of Altoona; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Anna Mae was a devout Catholic who daily sought strength and guidance through prayer. She was a faithful member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Summerhill, where she had cleaned the church for 55 years and served as president of the Altar & Rosary Society since 1997. She lived a full and loving life, adored her family, and most of all cherished being a grandmother.
Friends will be received from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork, where the Rosary will be prayed at 3 p.m. and the vigil service to follow.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. John’s by Father Leon Hont, OSB.
