Ann Elaine Oaks

OAKS – Ann Elaine, 80, Ehrenfeld, died November 9, 2019, at home surrounded by loving family. Born July 20, 1939, in South Fork, daughter of Michael J. and Ann (Busch) Murphy. Preceded in death by parents; son, Randy Lynn Oaks; and sister, Mary Catherine Johnson. Survived by children, Lawrence, married to Terri (Wadsworth), Summerhill; Thomas, married to Tammy (Moss), South Fork; Raymond, married to Cindy (Seese), Lancaster; and Betty Jane, wife of James Brown, Ehrenfeld; ten grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Elaine was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Summerhill; and was a retired US Postal Service rural route mail carrier, with 26 years of service. She was an avid square dancer for many years and enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and her beloved dog Dakota.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday November 11, 2019 at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday November 12, 2019, the Reverend Toby Holland presiding.

Following cremation an interment service will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Johnstown.
