KOHART – Ann, 99, Cresson, formerly of South Fork, died July 27, 2020, at John Paul II Manor. Born March 11, 1921, in South Fork, daughter of Stephen and Margaret (Colbaugh) Yurochko.
Preceded in death by parents, husband, Nicholas G. Kohart (Kuharich) Sr., who died July 22, 2012; granddaughter, Jacqueline M. Long; sister, Margaret Balcer; and brothers, John, Thomas, Edward, George, Joseph, Steve, and Michael.
Survived by sons, Richard, Haines, Alaska; Nick Jr., married to Carol (Wingard), Shawboro, North Carolina; Edward, married to Laura (Hefkie), Damascus, Oregon; and Mark, married to Patti (Chunta), South Fork; grandchildren, Patti, Judi, Jennifer, Naomi, Nicole, Sarah, and Luke; fourteen great-grandchildren; and five great great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graduate of South Fork High School, class of 1939. A devout Catholic, Ann was a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, and the former St. Anthony’s Parish in Fifficktown, where she sang in the choir and was active with their Altar & Rosary Society. Ann lived a full and loving life and though we are saddened by her passing, we find comfort knowing she has rejoined those loved ones who went before her and whom she has longed to see again.
Friends will be received from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Father Joseph C. Nale, Celebrant.
