Ann Blazosky

BLAZOSKY – Ann Marie, 77, St. Michael, went home to be with the Lord Nov. 4, 2015. Born Aug. 26, 1938, in Dunlo, daughter of John and Clara (Miller) Glovany. Preceded in death by parents; son, Mark; grandson, Michael Diaz; and son-in-law, Carlos Diaz. Survived by loving husband of 46 years, Michael; daughter, Susan; and son, Bernard, married to Jennifer (Petroro), all of St. Michael; daughter, Heidi Diaz, Friedens; and grandchildren, Christa, Alexander, Katrina and Julia Diaz and Joseph Blazosky. Loving sister of Claire (Ronald) Glass, York; Paul Glovany and Grace (William) Martyak, all of Dunlo; and Joan (Samuel) Cammarata; and Thresa (Peter) Valko, all of Johnstown; and sisters-in-law, Phyllis (Joseph) Slonac and Marcia (Ronald) Costlow, all of St. Michael. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Ann was a devout member of St. Michael Catholic Church, St. Michael, where she taught second grade religious education for 20 years, sang in the choir for more than 35 years, and had many roles in various committees and church organizations. Ann also was a former Girl Scout leader and worked on the election board in St. Michael for many years. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home Inc., South Fork, where a vigil service will be held Friday evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Michael Catholic Church by Father Charles F.
