Alexander M. Paskowski

PASKOWSKI – Alexander M., 18, Sidman, died July 26, 2016. Born July 9, 1998, in Johnstown, son of Michael J. Paskowski and Melanie H. (Hornick), wife of Jesse Meier. Survived by parents; sister, Brittani Nicole Salat, Sidman; step-brothers, Shane and Brandon Meier, Sidman; maternal grandparents, Donald and Agnes Hornick, Johnstown; paternal grandmother, Vandallia Jarvie, South Fork; uncle, Ronald J. (Kimberly) Paskowski, Godwin, NC; aunt, Shannon (David) Dixon, Westmont; and numerous cousins and other beloved family and friends.

Alex was a 2016 graduate of Forest Hills High School and Greater Johnstown Career and Technology Center, where he proudly earned his welding certification. He worked as a sandblaster for J & J Trucking. He loved hanging out with friends, was an avid hunter, enjoyed riding dirt bikes and was a member of Flawed Beauties Car Club. Alex had a generous spirit; his fun-loving nature, contagious laughter, and big heart will be dearly missed by all.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork, where funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, by Bruce Wise, life celebrant.

Interment, Dunmyer Cemetery.
