BRACKEN – Thomas V., 76, New Germany, died peacefully at home October 10, 2021, surrounded by family. Born June 27, 1945, in Twin Rocks, son of the late Ralph E. and Susan (Stec) Bracken.
Survived by beloved wife of 51 years, Deborah (Shope) Bracken; son, Matthew, married to Michelle (Fink), Johnstown; daughter, Jamie, wife of Robert Heinrich, Summerhill; grandchildren, Kayla Bracken; and Thomas and Alicia Heinrich; and sister, Clara Ann, wife of Richard Doyka, Mineral Point.
Retired Construction Project Engineer from PennDot after 35 years of service. Tom was an avid golfer and member of Ebensburg Country Club. He enjoyed working outdoors and meticulously kept his lawn looking beautiful. He especially cherished spending time with family and being together with his grandchildren. Honoring his wishes, there will be no public visitation or service. He will forever be remembered among family and friends.
