On Friday, May 27, 2022, Margaret Betz, loving Mother, Mom and Gmaw, was called to her heavenly home by God and gained her well-deserved Angel Wings at the age of 93.
Margaret was born on July 21, 1928, in Earnest, Pa. to Joseph Paul Burns and Margaret Smith Burns. Margaret worked for the Federal Government and then with the State of North Carolina in Raleigh. After retiring, she went back to work and became a preferred Babysitter for Lady Bug sitting services. She married Robert Betz and had five children, Mary, Scott, Bobby, Cathy and Debbie.
Margaret is a devout Catholic, fervent believer in the power of prayer, miracles, and always had candles lit for her family, friends and people all around the world that she knew personally or didn’t know personally but that needed prayers and a miracle.
Margaret was preceded in death by her first daughter Mary and grandson Ryan. She is survived by her sister MaryAnn Brence of Erie, Pa. Her children, Scott and his wife Dawn, Bobby and his wife Mary Lou, daughter Cathy, and daughter Debbie and her partner Phil. She has six grandchildren, and truly the loves of her life, Justin, Amanda, Christopher, Jennifer, Alston and Eaddy. Two great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Mass and Celebration of her Life Service as a devoted God loving lady will be held on Wednesday, 6/22/2022 at 11:00 am. St. Andrews's Catholic Church in Apex, NC; 3008 Old Raleigh Rd, Apex, NC 27502
