YEAGER – Carole Elaine, 82, Summerhill Township, died December 25, 2018, at Maple Winds Care Center. Born May 17, 1936, in South Fork, daughter of J. Earl and Marion E. (Bray) Bowen. Preceded in death by parents; infant daughter, Joni; former husband, Clair P. “Sarge” Yeager, grandson, Zachary Smith, and sister-in-law, Margaret Bowen.
Survived by children, Dawn, wife of David Kuhn, Summerhill; David, engaged to Alison Flanary, Ocala, Florida; Daniel, married to Sandee (Linton), Windber; Pete, married to Sue (Croyle), St. Michael; Paul, married to Jessica (Dayton), Windber; James and significant other, Nicole Lenz, Johnstown; and Bill, married to Stephanie (Cooke), Windber; grandchildren, Kevin, Scott, Frank, Nicole, Kirstie, Michelle, Dalton, Kaitlyn Joy, Emily Yeager, Allison, Emily Lenz and Jaizen; great-grandchildren, Ace, Von, Victoria, Ella, Reed, Payton and Paige; brothers, William D.; and Denny, married to Dorothy (Ellenberger), all of South Fork; and sister-in-law, Vera Yeager, California.
Carole was a graduate of South Fork - Croyle High School, class of 1954 and was a retired CNA. She was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates fan and loved the many German Shepherds she had over the years. She cherished her family and always put their needs before her own. Her loving and gentle spirit will be missed by all who knew her.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Saturday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork, Pastor Brad Price, presiding.
Interment, South Fork Cemetery.
